運転免許証

Problem / Need advice

更新が1年後にひかえているのですが
数年前からアメリカパスポートかグリーンカードがないと更新できないと
お聞きしたのですが…
その場合私はハワイに住居がありソーシャルセキュリティーナンバーのして確定申告もハワイでしているのですがそれでもだめなのでしょうか?

ビザが無いと更新できません。かなり厳重に確認します。
オフィスではSSN番号?申告書?何それ?、
早く出生証明かビザ出して...と言う感じです。

規定が変更される直前は、これから更新できなくなる人（海外旅行者など）の書き換えや、今のうちに！と免許を取った人が多かったらしいです。
カマアイナの免許証は色々と割引がある上身分証明書にもなり旅行者でも便利でしたからね。。
ギリギリに旅行で来て書き換えたらよかったですね。。残念。
更新は１０年でしたっけ??

旅行者でもカマアイナさん。
期限が数年残ってても更新できたらしてたのに…
更新は7年です。
