This is a self-response, but I have contacted Hawaiian Airlines.
Honolulu in June － They cannot rule out the possibility of Haneda flights being suspended.
Based on the timing of the extended suspension so far,
they said that it would be announced by mid to late April ？.

If the service is suspended, flights to/from Haneda will be
fully refunded or changed to Narita flights free of charge.
In case of code-share flights operated by JAL, it will be treated as a normal change and the difference in fees will be charged.

We are also waiting for your predictions and other information.

As of 4/15, reservations for the June Honolulu － Haneda flight were no longer available.
Narita flights seem to be fine.
In the end, I booked this time with JAL.

I flew back to Japan last summer with JAL's no-change cancellation fee ticket. I called JAL before purchasing the ticket to confirm what to do in case of flight cancellation. However, as I expected, I received an email from JAL saying that my flight had been cancelled both on the way there and on the way back to Japan. I was not charged a change fee, but I was charged the difference between the flight I was changing to and the flight I was taking. It cost my family a total of 60,000 yen extra for the round trip. Last year, negative certificates were still expensive, so the additional 60,000 yen for flight cancellations due to airline reasons was quite painful. For these reasons, our family is thinking of holding off on JAL for a while until the coronas settle down a bit more and flights are more stable.

It was very difficult to collect the difference of 60,000 yen due to the convenient change on JAL side.

As for the details, just a few days ago, Semi-Flex Economy, which is
round trip + $ 160 with no change fee, appeared for Hawaii flight reservations.
I thought this ticket was safer than the non-changeable ticket, so I bought it.
Shortly after that, I found out that all fares are change fee free for flights departing from Hawaii until the end of June.

I called JAL USA to ask about the difference between the Semi-Flex fare and the Semi-Flex fare, but after 2 hours and 40 minutes, I could not get through.
Then I called JAL in Japan again, but they were also disconnected after about 40 minutes, so I gave up asking questions.
After carefully reading the explanation page about no change fee, I cancelled my Semi-Flex ticket and purchased a non-refundable ticket.

I realized ～ that I can't go back to Japan as easily as I did before Corona.
However, the timing of this trip is convenient for me in many ways, so I would like to give it a try.
Also, I am traveling alone, so even if there is an adjustment for the difference, I hope ？ it won't take that much.
Now I just need to take care of myself before departure ～ and during the trip. I will be careful not to get corona.

I am earning miles with Delta, but
Delta will not be flying to Japan until October,
so I was looking for flights with other companies.

I have 8,000 miles of JAL mileage that will disappear in August,
so I am thinking of exchanging it for something.

I am also a Delta guy, but I took the May flight on JAL.
Honolulu → Haneda → Nagoya for regional flights.
Now it says that if the flight is cancelled, there is no change or difference if the flight is until November.
#Jarjaru, in your case, the free period must have passed ？

However, since I bought my ticket in February, I experienced 4 changes due to cancellations 😅
I called for about 3 hours and could not get through, and if I wanted to cancel, I could do it online. The first two times I cancelled and re-purchased because the price didn't change, and the third and fourth times I called for 2 hours and they changed the ticket.
The JAL person who handled my case was very courteous, and I was interested in her low attitude, even though it was not her fault that the flight was cancelled.

Hawaiian is slow to announce cancellations.
Currently, they only have the flight status until 5/31. I wish you a safe trip back home.

You will not be charged a change fee, but you will be charged the difference between the flight you are changing. I heard that depending on the time of year, day of the week, etc., that benefit may not apply … or something. Still, my family was better off, and my friend's family, who had already purchased Premier Economy, had to choose between flying via Mainland on a flight with Premier Economy or paying the downgrade penalty and flying direct in regular economy, because there were no Premier Economy seats available on the flight they were changing to. I had to pay both the downgrade penalty and the difference between the flight and the one I was changing to. Because of this, I plan to avoid using JAL as much as possible for the time being.

JAL mileage can be transferred to Zipair, so I transferred it to Zip. It seems you can use it to pay for in-flight shopping, food and drink, etc.

My final destination is Nagoya too, but I decided to fly to/from Tokyo because I was a bit worried about the transfer time at Haneda or Narita, and also because I wanted to see my siblings and family who live in Tokyo. I would be most happy if Delta would bring back the Nagoya flight, but I imagine that after the Tokyo flight is restored in October, they will look at the number of passengers and decide whether to reopen the Nagoya flight or not. I see that everyone is having a hard time contacting JAL. The people who answer the phone must be very busy. If I could get through to them, I would thank them.

JAL's fuel surcharge will be 23,600 yen/one way from June ticketing.
Currently it is 12,700 yen/one way, which is high enough, but it is double that.
If you change your reservation in June, you will also be charged the difference in surcharge.
That's roughly $ 90/one way. Anyway, I hope things go as planned.
