I walk most of the time, but the police drive very roughly. I sometimes get scared when they turn right without stopping when crossing the street at a traffic light, even though there are no sirens on. Of course, I don't cross the street when I can see the police because I think they don't pause. ？

Hawaii is so poorly drained that just a few hours of heavy rainfall, let alone a large puddle, left us ankle-deep in water in the middle of Waikiki on 5/18.
Manholes were overflowing with water.

Ambulances are noisy because cars don't move out of the way immediately.

Unlike Japan, medical expenses are extremely high and patients are gods. I don't think any hospital will refuse to accept ambulance patients because they are not cheap like in Japan.

In Japan, some people lose their lives because they are rushed around, but you don't have to worry about that, but be careful because they charge very high fees.

Even for Hawaii residents who have medical insurance, the cost is so high that I heard that a tourist who was not covered by travel insurance and was hospitalized in Hawaii had to sell his house in Japan to pay for medical expenses in Hawaii. I can understand why this unusual medical system makes people think about returning to Japan in their old age.

I moved here from CA, but I lived in LA, CA, and some people said the cost of living was high
but I don't think so ？.

I went to see a friend who lives in Manhattan Beach, LA last week, but prices are cheaper in LA, restaurants, etc. ！

On business, I went to California a few weeks ago for the first time in about 10 years.
I was surprised that I did not have any of the sneezing, dizziness, or joint pain that had plagued me in Hawaii.
I came back to Hawaii last year after getting sick in Japan, but it just kept getting worse and worse, so I gave up. I guess it just so happened that the weather in California was nice and dry ？ I felt better and more comfortable than I have in a long time. Also, I felt that the cost of living in California was a little cheaper than in Hawaii, but since my salary was better than in Hawaii, I thought that I might not have to spend more on living expenses than in Hawaii.
I had heard that Hawaii is good for you because of the negative ions, but in recent years, I feel that the onset of rhinitis, dizziness and migraine headaches are noticeably worse in Bogu.
In my case, I came back to Hawaii hoping to revive my health, but as #6 Hawaii says, I like Hawaii but it is not for me and I am thinking of moving.
