メリーモナーク（TV生中継）を録画してDVDに焼く方法

とても素人的な質問で申し訳ありません。

ケーブル会社の機器、もしくはDVR単体を自分で入手して（まだどちらも持っていません）、メリーモナークのTV中継を録画したいです。
その後そこからDVDを一枚だけ焼きたいのですが、そもそもDVDに移すことが可能なのかもよくわかっていません。

どなたかご存知の方、または代行でやって頂けるようなサービスをご存知であれば、教えて頂けますでしょうか？
