However, we have a couple who both have serious chronic illnesses and disabilities, and one is already a senior citizen.
Due to their illnesses, it is difficult for them to stand for long periods of time, and the jobs they can do are physically limited, so they have not been able to find work yet.
Healthy people will never know what it is like to have a chronic illness or disability, and I don't expect them to understand.

If you were working, why not apply for disability benefits at the Social Security Office? Social Security Office and apply for disability benefits ？.

I happened to see a video on YouTube the other day, and I was on the verge of homelessness with my two children before, and I heard about food stamps
from a friend and did some research. However, I had a strange sense of pride, and in the end I managed to get by without assistance.
Looking back, I wish I had received food stamps because I was really struggling. That's what aid is for.
I still feel bad that I put my pride first and made my children live on

I think they deserve support from the government.

I know a person who lives with two adults

and receives support from the government, yet there are people who complain about the food rations

they receive and go to the extent of asking for it
