It is very difficult to get 100% custody of the child, especially if you are divorcing an American. My husband has given his consent at one point. We have had several big fights in the past, so I think he assumed that I would take them back home. Divorce in the U.S. is complicated and time consuming, unlike in Japan. I have often wished that we could have a simple divorce between the parties as in Japan.

A long time ago in my case,
both Legal Custody (Legal Custody)》 and Physical Custody (Parenting Custody)》 were 100% for me.

My ex-husband agreed to return to Japan as he cannot live with the children.

But the children have the right to see their father, and
returning to Japan became a dream.
In my case, the children were only allowed to see their father 16 hours a week
so I had to send them to Hawaii during summer and winter vacations. Since it would be a total of 3 months a year, sending them during summer and winter vacations is half the father's expense, but it is not easy.

I received it today. The staff told me that the address on the reservation could be either a local hotel or a Japanese address, but I entered a local hotel.
When I got in line, I showed them the QR code and they asked me if I wanted an antigen or a pcr. I was surprised to find out that it cost $85 if you are a tourist, but I paid it because it was cheaper than other places. After that, I was given a kit, handed the kit to a nurse-like person, answered my date of birth verbally, and had the test done while standing up. The Korean couple in line behind us were surprised at the $85 price, but they paid it!

I returned to Japan with a negative certificate for Nomi's PCR test.
I was never asked to show the negative certificate issued by the government after arriving in Japan.

If you are going back to Japan, you only need a negative certificate from Nomi. It is possible with a screenshot.

I also had a PCR test done at Nomi and am safely on my way back home temporarily.
At Nomi, there were about 10 people in line in front of me, but I showed them the QR code and the test was done in a few minutes.
I was told that the test result would take 24 to 72 hours, but I did the test in the evening and received the email at 9:00 the next morning, so it was within 24 hours. MYSOS turned green, so I didn't paper the negative certificate because I thought I could just show it to the screener.
At the JAL check-in counter, the people showing the negative certificate form were foreigners who were connecting in Tokyo, and most Japanese people just showed the green screen of MYSOS.

#70's advice was very helpful.
I was very impatient because I could not download data on my iPhone.
I also had an incident where my wife's address became invalid and she did not receive the test results, but I called Nomi Health and told them the patient number that appears when I scan the QR code with my iPhone camera, and asked them to send it to another email address. They will then send me a pdf of the test results directly.
