Dear sunset and everyone, I am always helped by the information in this topic. Thank you.
I will share a smooth case at this time, where I am subject to the $25 difference rule, PEUC closed on 9/4 and 26 weeks of benefits started on 9/11.
Please forgive me if this is off topic.

The recent situation is as follows:
9/11 was Waiting Period
9/18 was File as usual and deposited 2 days later as Processed
Yesterday I tried to File on 9/25 and got too early, so it looks like it is now every other week again. File was processed and credited 2 days later.

When my Benefit Year Ends in mid-April, I thought I was eligible for automatic extension of PEUC, but I received an email that I should Initial Claim, so I thought it was a glitch. I had no choice but to submit an Initial Claim for the second time. At that time, a question about the $25 difference came up, so I chose PEUC.
Immediately after the second Initial Claim, the new Benefit Year Ends was mid-April 2022 on the screen, but a little later it changed to 9/05/2021, so I thought the benefit was completely terminated there.
Around the end of August, I received an email from UI saying that I did not need to take any action because 26 weeks of benefits would start from the end of 9/11, and that the first week of benefits would be a waiting period. However, after 9/6, the Benefit Year Ends was updated to April 2022 and the total amount paid was updated to the same amount as PEUC × for 26 weeks.
Current WBA is PEUC same amount.
I also re-registered Direct Deposit in one step according to the yellow screen.

Like everyone else, I am trying to find a job, but I know firsthand that it is very difficult to find a new job.

Thank you for your valuable share, I think it was very helpful for those who had the option due to the $25 difference rule to understand the timeline. In the past, the UI office has tended to work on the cases of all applicants gradually in a slow mode instead of working on them all at once, so this may be the same.

Thanks for sharing. I guess it is as the UI office had officially announced. While it is important to be serious in your job search, on the other hand, it might be better to have the mindset that it is natural that you may not find a suitable job immediately. When the restrictions on Japanese airports are eventually lifted and Japanese tourists are able to come and go with only a vaccum passport, I am sure the winds will change for the better as more companies will resume business and expand their hiring.
