他州からの運転免許更新について

他州から発行された免許がもうすぐ切れるので、現住所のあるハワイで更新したいのですが、筆記試験は必要でしょうか？
ホームページをみても詳しく分からずなので、最近他州からの免許更新をされた方でご存知の方教えて下さい。

筆記試験は必要ないですが、
ハワイ州は移民に厳格でソーシャルセキュリティーカードと期限内のビザもしくはグリーンカードが必要です。
