The representative I spoke with on the phone said that the protocol is to let the mail sit for a few days after it arrives at the Social Security office before opening it and then proceed to examine the documents. Is this an anti-virus measure?

I would like to know if you have prepared a tax return （ or if you have used any commercially available software ） see the amounts listed
on the Hawaii Form N-11.

First,
compare the number 26 of N-11 made by the first two software.
（ See if they are the same ）

Then compare the numbers in columns 28 through 32 of the N-11, if any.

And the difference will be the difference in the numbers, so it is possible that either software is not
creating a certain form.

There is definitely a difference, but without seeing all the numbers
it is hard to say if that is the cause.

When you leave the U.S., use your U.S. passport
When you return to Japan, use your Japanese passport.

On the way back to Japan, you leave Japan with a Japanese passport and enter Hawaii with an American passport.
