To all UI recipients who have a sole proprietorship,

[MEUC Program]

After reconfirming with the Unemployment Insurance Help Team, we would like to share the email that was sent out to UI recipients who are not eligible for the MEUC Program. According to the content of the email, UI recipients who earned over $5,000 in private business will receive $100 per week.

The application process is to apply for "Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation" on the PUA page and submit the required documents.

The contents of the email are pasted below.

Beginning June 17, 2021, DLIR will begin accepting applications for Mixed Earners Unemployment Compensation (MEUC), which provides an MEUC is available to individuals receiving regular UI or extended benefits who also received MEUC is available to individuals receiving regular UI or extended benefits who also received at least $ 5,000 of net self-employment income in the most recent tax year ending prior to the individual's application for UI benefits. Individuals who are eligible for MEUC will receive the supplemental benefit for any week that they are paid UI benefits between December 27, 2020 and the week ending September 4, 2021. I am a UI recipient, but I was also a sole proprietor, so I received an email for MEUC.
