47th Na ・ Hoku ・ Hanohano ・ Award

The Na ・ Hoku ・ Hanohano ・ Awards, now in its 47th year, will be held on Saturday （ August 3, 2024 ） at the Hawaii Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Na ・ Hoku ・ Hanohano ・ Awards, also known as Hawaii's Grammy Awards, is Hawaii's largest music festival.

The finalists nominated for each award were recently announced. Click here to download the list. This year's list features the rise of veterans such as Raiatea ・ Helm, who represents Hawaii's divas, the talented Sean ・ Naauao, Ekolu, who is popular for her Hawaiian reggae, and Waipuna, who has many fans in Japan. Also notable is Kenny ・ Tagavilla, a newcomer but nominated for Best Album, Best Male Vocalist, and Best Newcomer.

Na ・ Hoku ・ Hanohano ・ Hawaii ・ Academy ・ Of ・ Recording ・ Arts （ HARA ） President of the High Lamar ・ Farden said, "We extend our aloha and gratitude to the people of Japan for their long-standing support of music and the music industry in Hawaii. This year's Na ・ Hoku ・ Hanohano ・ Awards will return to the Hawaii Convention Center. We hope to bring more Hawaiian music fans from Hawaii and Japan to enjoy the live music in a larger venue," he said.
